Dog of the Week: Meet Eleanor!

A beautiful mocha-colored dog captured my attention the second I walked into the Central Oklahoma Humane Society. She wagged her tail with such enthusiasm, that her entire body wriggled with excitement. Meet Eleanor, a delightfully friendly, 1-year-old female dachshund/beagle mix. Eleanor eagerly greets animals and humans alike. She enjoyed chasing the sunbeams as they danced on the wall of her playroom. She joyfully played “fetch” with a huge, squeaky green lizard. Any time I knelt to pet her, she would crawl into my lap for snuggles. She loves everybody, including dogs, children and cats. Eleanor is extraordinarily friendly, and would be compatible in a home with other dogs. Eleanor is one of the sweetest dogs that I have ever met, and would be a fantastic addition to any household.

If you are interested in Eleanor, please call the Central OK Humane Society Central OK Humane Society at 405.286.1229, Ext. 4 to meet her today!
